Base Pay Range $17.00/hr – $24.00/hr
Position Summary As a Cake Decorator you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
Responsibilities
Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service; be flexible to the needs of the business; maintain in‑stock levels; and control shrinkage.
Be an Expert: Plan bakery productions; ensure consistency in quality and accuracy of bakery decorative designs; follow recipe measurement instructions; work with a variety of products to create decorative flowers and lettering on bakery items; ensure adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; and demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution.
Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
Be an Owner: Drive the performance of the bakery area; ensure quality and data control standards; eliminate waste; prepare for seasonal events that impact the bakery volume; identify member needs; assist members with purchasing decisions; and resolve member issues and concerns.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate the brand by valuing the member's experience in Bakery and modeling high quality service and products; interact with associates to understand the roadblocks and assist in training; develop, influence and inspire them for working in a style that is respectful, supportive and team oriented.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; and apply these in executing business processes and practices.
Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress and information; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.

6 months’ experience in Fresh Production Area.
