Job Title:
Entry-level CAD Drafter
Protingent Staffing has an exciting direct hire opportunity for an Entry-level CAD Drafter with our client located in Overland Park, Kansas.
Job Responsibilities
Production of architectural contract drawings and specifications for multiple telecommunications projects.
Coordination of structural, mechanical, electrical drawings and specifications with architectural contract documents for telecommunication facilities.
Conduct site research, both desktop and on- site visits as needed.
Consult with municipalities to determine site specific jurisdictional requirements.
Ensure that drawings are checked, approved and filed in accordance with company quality system.
Job Qualifications
At least 6 months' experience with AutoCAD.
Technical or vocational training in drafting technology.
Proficient in AutoCAD.
Knowledge of MS Office, MS Word & MS Excel.
Understanding of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical disciplines and capability of coordinating drawing production for these disciplines.
Strong organizational, written and communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Team-based and fast paced work environment.
Overtime required as needed to meet client deadlines.

Pay Range: $20-$22 an hour
