Job Overview As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. On occasion, you may work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.
Salary and Schedule Details
Your starting hourly pay rate will be $13.75–$15.75 depending on your skills and experience.
Eligible Employees receive annual pay increases.
This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
Average weekly hours for this position are between 5–10 hours per week.
Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
Responsibilities
Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory both within and outside the Hallmark department. Communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete surveys.
Engage store employees, management, and customers professionally and courteously.
Handle additional holiday support during peak periods such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Participate in fixture installation and department resets as scheduled, often with two weeks’ notice.
Support teammates within Hallmark’s field organization as needed.
Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding job requiring the ability to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. You must be able to kneel, squat, walk, stand, and climb stairs or step ladders throughout the workday.
Basic Qualifications
At least 18 years of age.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
Proficient with a digital handheld device for reading documents and interpreting information.
Access to Wi‑Fi and the Internet.
Reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
