Overview
We are the creative minds behind Chicago’s Happy Camper, Homeslice, and Paradise Park. Our restaurants are filled with lights, murals, and art‑inspired spaces that create the perfect Instagram vibe. We are known for our delicious food, great vibe, and the distinct culture that brings our brand together. We are looking for enthusiastic people who want to grow with our rapidly expanding restaurant group and who are self‑motivated, initiative‑driven, and detail‑focused.
Job Summary Provide friendly and responsive service to create an exceptional experience for all guests by welcoming and warmly greeting guests upon arrival. Manage the efficient and timely seating of guests or waiting areas when applicable. A positive attitude is a must! A healthy work environment that allows guests to enjoy the perfect dining experience.

Responsibilities
Greet guests as they enter with energetic & positive attitude
Create and maintain wait list if necessary
Effective use of OpenTable
Provide guests with menus and answering any initial questions
Seat guests at tables or in designated waiting areas
Assign guests to tables they prefer while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers
Respond to complaints and help resolve them or get a manager involved
Answer phone calls, take reservations and answer any general inquiries guests may have
Maintain running knowledge of food and beverage menu
Acknowledge guests as they leave
Maintain company culture
Other Functions
Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the manager or immediate supervisor
Comply with health and food safety standards
Restock floor and bathrooms as needed
Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the host stand including counters, menus, computer, shelves and storage areas
Physical Functions
Ability to stand and walk a minimum of 8 hours or as needed
Must be able to exert well‑paced and frequent mobility for periods of up to 8 hours or as needed
Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and key in data
Work in both warm and cool environments
High levels of noise from music, customer and employee traffic
Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish
Qualifications, Education and Behavior
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to provide top‑notch customer service in a fast‑paced environment
Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff
Produces high‑quality work while unsupervised
Can work in a standing position for long periods of time
Can safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary
Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed
Can handle money accurately and operate a point‑of‑sale system
Experienced working in a busy restaurant environment
Restaurant experience a plus
Compensation Details Compensation: $19-22 Hourly (Based on Experience)
