Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) - Harbor Springs, MI 49740 Hallmark Cards is seeking a part‑time Field Merchandiser to work independently in retail locations such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The role requires strong organization, time‑management, and the ability to build retailer relationships while serving as the face of Hallmark.

Job Overview As a Field Merchandiser, you will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations as needed. You may also work with other products from partner companies in the stores you service.

Salary and Schedule Details

Your starting hourly pay rate will be $14.00 – $16.00 depending on skills and experience.

Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.

This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule.

Average weekly hours: 9 – 11 hours.

Availability the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Responsibilities You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores. The position consists of three major components:

Day‑to‑day engagement: Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products inside and outside the Hallmark department. Communicate with supervisors, report time, and provide feedback. Engage professionally with store employees, management, and customers.

Holiday support: During peak holiday periods (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas) you may be required to work additional days, extended hours, or the holiday itself.

Department resets: Participate in installations, relocations, and resets of Hallmark fixtures. You will be notified at least two weeks in advance for remodel assignments, which may include evenings or weekends.

Team collaboration: Support other merchandisers as needed within your network.

Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding job that requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You must kneel, squat, walk, stand, climb stairs, and use stair ladders safely.

Basic Qualifications

At least 18 years of age.

Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.

Comfortable operating a digital handheld device for documents and information.

Reliable Wi‑Fi and internet access.

Consistent transportation to and between assigned stores.
