Job Overview As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations.
Salary and Schedule Details
Starting pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule.
Average weekly hours: 7–10 per week.
Availability during the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
Your Role And Responsibilities
Day‑to‑day engagement: restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products using a mobile device. Communicate with supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys.
Holiday support: additional days and extended hours around holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Department resets and installations: assist with fixture relocation, product display updates, and remodel assignments, sometimes requiring evenings or weekends.
Team support: collaborate with the Hallmark field organization to assist other merchandisers as needed.
Physical Requirements Physically demanding job requiring ability to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Must kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may need to climb stairs and ladders.
Basic Qualifications
At least 18 years of age.
Read, write and understand English.
Lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
Operate a digital hand‑held device for documents and information.
Access to Wi‑Fi network and internet.
Reliable transportation to and between assigned stores.
