What You’ll Do
Traveling ON TIME to the office with a reliable vehicle
Traveling ON TIME to scheduled appointments using a company vehicle
Completing on‑site projects as scheduled by the Production Manager
Taking accurate measurements and cutting wood for structural repairs
Replacing or repairing wood girders, floor joists, sill plates and outer rim joists
Digging footings, pouring concrete, building CMU piers and building supplemental drop girders
Utilizing jack systems to lift and flatten sagging floors
Working with pressure treated lumber, engineered wood products and fasteners
Operating power tools, saws, cutting tools, drills and jacks
Accurately following the scope of work and being able to read structural drawings
Following OSHA regulations, building codes and company safety protocols
Ensuring the required supplies and equipment are on the company vehicle
Communicating project status to the Project Manager
Compensation This is a full‑time opportunity with competitive compensation. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and life insurance, paid holidays and a 401(k).
Requirements
Ability to pass pre‑employment screening including a background check.
Clean record and valid driver’s license
Able to start work at 7am and work until 5pm Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays.
Education & Experience Previous experience in carpentry, framing and foundation repair preferred, particularly in the fields of Construction and Home Improvement
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment
Knowledge of building codes
Nature of Work / Conditions
Work is typically performed on all types of foundations and can include working in tight spaces and under houses
Work requires constant movement, is strenuous, physical and can include standing, bending, crawling, lifting up to 50 lbs., loading and unloading materials, pushing and pulling equipment for prolonged periods
