Job Summary BMS CAT is a leader in disaster restoration. From initial clean‑up to complete rebuilds, BMS CAT is there every step of the way. We are looking for individuals to perform smoke, fire, and water restoration cleanup.
Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed cleaning, wiping, HEPA vacuuming, and debris removal in remediation work zones.
Assist with setting up and maintaining containment barriers, negative air machines, HEPA scrubbers, and dehumidifiers.
Conduct pre‑clean and post‑clean sanitation in accordance with IICRC and company standards.
Safely handle and dispose of contaminated materials following environmental and regulatory guidelines.
Support remediation crews with load‑in/load‑out of equipment, tools, and materials.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas, vehicles, and equipment to ensure a professional and safe environment.
Follow all PPE requirements, safety protocols, and job‑specific instructions provided by supervisors or project managers.
Document daily work activities, including before/after photos, material usage, and equipment tracking.
Assist with odor removal, surface decontamination, and antimicrobial application as needed.
Uphold professionalism when interacting with customers, property owners, and onsite personnel.
Job Requirements
Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting 50+ lbs., bending, climbing ladders, and working in tight or high‑risk environments.
Comfortable wearing required PPE (respirators, Tyvek suits, gloves, etc.).
Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends depending on job demand.
Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
Prior cleaning, janitorial, remediation, or construction experience is a plus but not required—we will train the right candidate.
