Job Overview
As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations as needed.
Salary and Schedule Details Starting pay:
$15.75 to $17.75
per hour, depending on experience. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
Part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
Average weekly hours: 18–22.
Must be available the week before and after major holidays, including weekends.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Day‑to‑day engagement:
Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark inventory. Communicate with supervisors, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys. Interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers.
Holiday support:
Work additional days and extended hours around holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. May work on the holidays themselves.
Department resets:
Participate in installations, fixture building, and product relocations. Receive two weeks’ notice for remodel assignments; work may include evenings or weekends.
Team collaboration:
Support other merchandisers as needed in your territory.
Physical Requirements High energy and sense of urgency. Capable of pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally. Must kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the day, and may need to climb stairs and step ladders.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum age 18.
Read, write, and understand English.
Capable of handling up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
Operate a digital handheld device.
Have Wi‑Fi access and a reliable internet connection.
Provided transportation to and between assigned stores.
