Job Summary The Collision Estimator is responsible for assessing the costs involved in repairing damaged vehicles. This role requires thorough knowledge of repair processes, materials, and associated costs. Estimators may also track the repair progress of vehicles, ensuring timely and efficient service.
Responsibilities
Greet customer in a friendly and professional manner.
Prepare detailed repair estimates in line with insurance partner requirements and company guidelines.
Create and maintain an organized repair schedule for each vehicle.
Ensure vehicles are clean and in proper condition before returning to customer.
Clearly explain the completed work and associated charges to customers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and team members.
Comply with all company policies, procedures and safety standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Collision Estimator is a plus but not required.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Computer competency and basic math skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
Organizational and time management skills.
Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
Strong record of positive customer satisfaction results.
Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
