ROCORI Public Schools is hiring a Custodian. The schedule is flexible and can include days and evenings but will be primarily weekends (Friday through Sunday).
Reports to: Head Custodian
Department: Custodial
Works with: Teachers, students, parents
Job Summary:
A Custodian performs general cleaning, occasional maintenance, sets up and takes down equipment for events.
Responsibilities
Creates and limits access to assigned area, to include opening and lock up of the facility,
Cleans, sets up, tears down assigned area.
Floors - vacuums, sweeps, mops, and scrubs.
Empty garbage and recycling.
Assists parents and other visitors to school buildings with special events and programs.
Maintains safety and cleanliness throughout the shift.
Fix/repair school property as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
This position is PT and will focus on weekend coverage of events such as Wrestling meets, Plays, and Dance events et cetera.
