Position Summary

Responsibilities
Help oversee all programs in the Aquatics Department, including Swim Lessons, Swim Team, and more.
Ensure the department is safe and successful in operations and finances.
Fulfill the role of one of the Swim Team Coaches and a lead swim instructor, managing swim team websites and communications, and participate in lead lifeguard shifts.
Assist with pool operations, including all aspects of the pump room, maintenance and repairs, cleaning, and chemical testing.
Create new programs and activities that help achieve yearly financial goals and create excitement for members.
Oversee the maintenance of the pools, including chemistry, climate control, cleanliness, and related maintenance.
Ensure overall cleanliness of the pool areas, including pools, pool decks, locker rooms, and pumproom.
Maintain the operating budget without compromising safety.
Create a friendly, positive customer service environment through employee training and oversight.
Oversee the daily operations of the indoor and outdoor pools and spa in meeting required standards in service, staffing, equipment, programming, and cleanliness.
Ensure a safe environment for all participants regarding all pools and pool areas.
Be responsible for other duties that arise.
Requirements
Experience coaching swimmers at varying levels, from beginner to advanced.
Experience teaching varying levels of swimming lessons.
Lifeguard certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
Supervisory experience.
Strong computer, organizational, and record‑keeping skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with swimmers, parents, and Aquatics staff.
Position Type : Full‑time (eligible for benefits). Full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, paid personal time, and vacation time.
