Cake Decorator
Position Summary: As a Cake Decorator you will drive member service in your area to deliver more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets members’ expectations.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources.
Provide excellent customer service and adapt to the needs of the business, maintaining inventory levels and controlling shrinkage.
Plan the bakery productions ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of bakery decorative designs following recipe measurement instructions.
Decorate bags, tips, nozzles to create decorative flowers and lettering on bakery items; ensure adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management.
Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment, demonstrating understanding of product and layout execution.
Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement using handheld technology for production, ordering, training, and product quality.
Drive the performance of the bakery area, ensuring quality and date control standards, eliminate waste, prepare for seasonal events, and assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve member issues.
Act as a brand advocate by valuing members’ experience, modeling high‑quality service, interacting with associates to understand roadblocks, and assisting in training.
Comply with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity, implementing action plans and using the Open Door Policy.
Complete work assignments using policies, data and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers and other partners to set priorities and deadlines.
Promote a culture of belonging, respect, teamwork, integrity, customer focus, and excellence.
Qualifications
Minimum 6 months of experience in fresh production area.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Ability to complete required trainings and assessments within specified time.
Preferred: Cake Decorating.
Salary Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $24.00/hr.
Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $24.00. Additional premium compensation may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule and specific work performed.
