If you are an experienced climbing arborist who sets the standard for safety, quality, and professionalism, has a passion for working outdoors in a team environment, and loves working with trees, this role will involve leading a team, ground work, pruning, and tree climbing.

Responsibilities

Assist in completing pruning work on client properties and may assist in diagnostic sales for pruning, including add-on sales as needed on client properties.

Possess a thorough knowledge of pruning practices and can work aloft at a minimum of 25 feet.

Develop the skills of team members and drive the team's efficiencies.

Direct and manage the members of a pruning team. Responsible for the daily production of the team, safety, and client satisfaction.

Work well in a team environment as well as independently, taking care of client properties and taking pride in the results of their work.

Model and hold others accountable to our Core Values.

Continuously receive on-the-job and classroom training on all aspects of our services to improve client service each year of employment.

Interact with clients daily, communicating the process, expectations of services needed, services performed, and recommendations for other services needed on their property.

Requirements

4 years of pruning experience as a production climber.

Valid driver's license and ability to obtain DOT certification.

State-issued pesticide applicator license: ornamental and lawn.

EHAP Certification preferred.

ISA Certified Arborist preferred.

Demonstrated thorough knowledge of pruning practices, arboriculture, pruning safety, and lawn services.

Proficiency in a field-based software system.

Ability to work outside in all weather, year-round.

Safely operate department-specific equipment.

Proficient with Microsoft and Google software platforms.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, internally and externally.

Ability to climb and work aloft.

Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Ability to push/pull objects while walking up to 3 miles a day or more.
