Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour. Vannguard Utility Partners Inc. is recruiting Underground Utility Locators to join our team. We provide an exciting, safety‑focused career in a drug‑free environment where you will drive a company vehicle, use mapping tools and specialized equipment to locate underground utilities, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Drive a company vehicle directly from home to job sites for routine tickets, emergencies, and relocations.
Utilize mapping tools and locating equipment to find underground utilities, including electric, gas, telephone, and other communication lines.
Mark utility locations with paint, flags, and communicate relevant information to excavation personnel or other authorities.
Respond to after‑hours emergency call‑outs in accordance with the established rotation schedule.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Attitude
Computer skills
Valid driver’s license for the state of employment
Ability to work overtime when duties cannot be performed within a normal work schedule
Subject to Vannguard’s Drug‑Free Workplace Program and pre‑employment drug screening
Self‑management and timely communication with supervisors and clients
Physical Demands
Drive 50–300+ miles daily as required by the geographic locating area.
Get in and out of a vehicle 50+ times a day.
Stand and walk lengthy distances (1+ mile) over uneven terrain in all weather conditions.
Sit for long periods while driving.
Lift and/or move 50–150 pounds.
Work outdoors in all weather conditions.

High school or equivalent (required)
