Responsibilities
Experience not required; on the job training available
Prepare pipe for installation, including beveling, installing retainers, and applying mastic; safely rig pipe and structures for lifting and placement in a ditch
Perform a variety of tasks involving physical labor
Lay water lines, storm‑water lines, sanitary lines, and other underground utilities
Perform manual labor, including but not limited to raking, shoveling, and hooking up pumps, installing pipe, mixing concrete, carrying materials, throwing sod, seeding, etc.
Operate hand and power tools
Work under various field and weather conditions
Must be able to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, climb, kneel, bend, twist, push, and pull
Must wear required PPE as per safety manual and OSHA regulations
Work weekends if requested by Foreman
Communicate effectively with Foreman
Must have reliable transportation to travel to the job sites
Jobsites range anywhere from 10–80 miles in one direction
Must be drug‑free
Medical drug cards are not accepted
