Sealer Sprayer
The Sealer Sprayer will provide a high level of service to ensure employee, customer, team member, and vendor satisfaction. The Sealer Sprayer does this by performing duties related to the set up and application of toners and sealers including the application on furniture. The Sealer Sprayer completes these functions in the manufacture of furniture parts and pieces.
Job Responsibilities
Identify a variety of wood species products including but not limited to the following wood species: Cherry, Mahogany, Oak, Maple, Birch, and Veneers, and make grade related decisions on a daily basis based on established Stickley standards.
Report to supervisor or work group leader for daily directions and promptly report any questions or problems.
Read, comprehend, and scan production tickets.
Inspect parts for quality and dimensional accuracy.
Apply toners and sealers on furniture to achieve desired finishes.
Work in the safest, most efficient manner per specifications and, when no other jobs are noted as needed, line up jobs to minimize setup time.
Operate assigned machines/tools such as spray guns and respiratory mask.
Physical Job Requirements
Ability to move throughout all areas of the facility including but not limited to rough mills, fine mills, storage, distribution, office areas, retail selling areas, and the outside perimeter of the building.
Move objects up to and exceeding 200 pounds with reasonable accommodations.
Wear all necessary personal protective equipment to perform job functions.
Stand and/or sit continuously and perform job functions for a full shift with meal break.
Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, handle and move items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Visual acuity corrected to perform job functions and ability to distinguish color.
