Road Mechanic 1
Join our team as a Road Mechanic and be an essential part of the maintenance and reliability of our fleet, ensuring safe and efficient operations for our customers.
Job Description Summary
Work on a variety of makes, models & equipment in challenging remote locations
Develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management
Work with an incredible team of people in a safety‑focused environment
Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment—including Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and specialty lines such as large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas related equipment—to avoid downtime
Education or experience that prepares you for success: high school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired
3‑5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment (large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC or oil & gas equipment) strongly preferred
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; 21 years of age & CDL license may be required in some locations
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Mechanic’s tools of trade
Hydraulic system troubleshooting fundamentals
Electrical system troubleshooting fundamentals
Flexibility with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Spanish or other bilingual skills may be required based on location needs
Physical demands: bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more; work indoors/outdoors when required
Joint, flexibility and other health effects may occur; reasonable accommodations available

Base Pay Range: $23.58 - $32.41
