The ideal candidate will play a key role in building custom control panels by interpreting electrical schematics, wiring components, and ensuring quality standards are met. This person will also maintain a clean and organized production area, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
This position is based primarily in our Greenwood Panel Shop, with occasional travel to customer locations during normal business hours. A clean driving record is required. We offer a competitive compensation plan and excellent benefits.
Responsibilities
Assemble and wire electrical control panels according to schematics and layout drawings.
Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
Mount components such as circuit breakers, relays, PLCs, and terminal blocks.
Perform precise wiring and labeling to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Inspect and test completed panels for functionality and adherence to customer requirements.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in good condition.
Report any issues or need for repairs promptly.
Follow all safety standards and company procedures.
Requirements
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
Experience with hand tools, power tools, and wiring techniques.
Prefer 3‑5 years’ experience in panel building or electrical assembly.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience preferred.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail.
