Electrical Panel Builder / Control Panel Builder
Base pay range: $23.00/hr – $25.00/hr.
Summary
Starting Rate: $23.00 – $25.00/Hour.
Full Time.

Responsibilities
Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
Assemble components such as circuit breakers, relays, PLCs, and terminal blocks into control panels.
Perform point‑to‑point wiring and ensure proper wire routing, labeling, and terminations.
Test completed panels for continuity, functionality, and compliance with specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety protocols.
Troubleshoot and correct wiring errors or component issues as needed.
Collaborate with engineers, quality control, and production teams to meet project deadlines.
Document assembly and testing results as required.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in electrical or electronics preferred.
2+ years experience in electrical panel building or similar role.
Ability to perform work using electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Experience with electrical assembly and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of motor controls, PLC's, HMI's and VFDs.
Experience with three‑phase power (208, 240, 480, 600VAC).
Familiar with electrical components (circuit breakers, control relays, motor starters, etc.).
Good communication skills and an ability to adapt to changing situations.
Familiarity with UL standards, NEC codes, and industrial electrical components.
Previous experience working on control panels.
Ability to use hand tools, crimpers, wire strippers, multimeters, and other relevant equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Depending on job classification, may require basic math and/or tape measure reading.
Depending on job classification, may require ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Physical Demands
Stand, walk, and talk, or hear.
Reach with hands and arms.
Climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
