ECHO AFC Transportation
TBL Group dba ECHO Transportation is the largest and fastest growing privately owned Charter Transportation Company in Texas. We seek qualified part‑time diesel and bus mechanics to join our Dallas facility. Our fleet includes diesel and gas powered motor coach buses, school buses, transit buses, trolleys, mini buses and vans.
Mechanic Responsibilities
Shop operates two shifts, 7 days a week.
Schedules are flexible.
Must work independently.
Additional training programs are available.
Position is safety sensitive.
Perform preventive maintenance inspections and emergency and road‑failure repairs.
Carry out general maintenance on electrical, HVAC, brake and accessory systems.
Document all work completed and parts used.
Qualifications
At least 2 years’ experience or technical training working on buses and diesel‑powered vehicles.
Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Skills
Wheel chair lift experience helpful.
Own basic hand tools.
Basic understanding of diesel engines, tires, air brake systems, HVAC systems, and electrical systems; able to perform necessary preventative maintenance and repair with proper training.
Compensation
Salary range based on experience and qualifications: $22.00 – $30.00 per hour.
