Role Summary Join Joval Manufacturing team as a Sheet Metal Assembler. This is an entry-level, hands-on role with on-the-job training. You will assemble prefabricated sheet metal components used in HVAC, plumbing, and roofing, support production flow, and help maintain quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble prefabricated sheet metal components to meet production and quality standards.

Operate and maintain basic assembly tools and equipment; follow safety and lockout/tagout procedures.

Package and stage finished products for shipment according to company standards.

Complete production paperwork and digital logs accurately and on time.

Safely handle fiberglass insulation and other materials when required, using provided PPE.

Support teammates across the shop floor and assist with material movement and troubleshooting.

Suggest small process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce rework.

Success Criteria

Meets daily production and quality targets with minimal rework.

Demonstrates consistent safe work habits and proper use of PPE.

Communicates effectively with leads and teammates about issues and improvements.

Learns new tasks quickly and takes on additional responsibilities over time.

Minimum Qualifications Required

Ability to safely lift and carry 50+ lbs repeatedly.

Comfortable standing for full shifts and performing repetitive physical tasks.

Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.

Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Willingness to work shifts and overtime as needed.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete simple paperwork.

Preferred

Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environments.

Familiarity with hand tools and basic shop equipment.

Experience reading simple diagrams or infographics.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Work primarily in a semi-open-air warehouse; temperatures vary seasonally with mitigation measures in place.

Some tasks involve handling fiberglass insulation; PPE and training provided.
