is seeking a determined full‑time 5 Axis CNC Machinist. The incumbent will set up and operate CNC machines under minimal supervision, maintain quality and safety standards, keep accurate records, and maintain equipment and supplies. The position also requires performing other woodworking tasks such as bench work, using standard woodworking tools, running molders, shapers, and various millwork machines while adhering to all statutory and regulatory requirements.

A Day in the Life as a 5 Axis CNC Machinist This position requires flexibility, excellent time management, interpersonal skills, and knowledge of machine capabilities and manufacturing processes. You must be safety conscious, able to read and interpret production profiles, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Physical requirements include standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Duties Include But Are Not Limited To
Plan machining by studying work orders, materials, specifications, and machining parameters.
Set tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculate requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry, and proof parts.
Set up machines, including the CNC, to run moldings.
Create CAD files for approvals and programming the CNC machine.
Maintain a clean and safe work area, performing daily and regular cleaning of machinery in compliance with procedures and regulations.
Ensure regular and dependable attendance.
Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Have 1–3 years of prior experience operating 3‑axis or 5‑axis machines.
Prior experience in manufacturing or millwork is helpful.
Hold basic shop math skills.
Ability to set up machines quickly and accurately.
