Power Tee is the world leader in automated golf ball teeing systems. We are looking for a skilled
CAD Drafter / Mechanical Designer
to join our expanding product development team and play a key role in designing, refining, and launching new products. This is a hands‑on design role focused on mechanical systems, moving assemblies, and production‑ready components. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and leadership to bring new concepts from idea to reality.
Key Responsibilities
Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and production drawings using SolidWorks
Design and develop mechanical systems with moving parts and mechanisms
Design components and assemblies using sheet metal, including bends, tolerances, and manufacturability considerations
Support new product development from concept through prototyping and production
Prepare drawings for manufacturing, including BOMs, tolerances, and specifications
Revise and update designs based on testing, feedback, and production requirements
Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and suppliers to ensure designs are cost‑effective and manufacturable
Maintain organized CAD files and documentation
Required Qualifications
Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (mandatory)
Proven experience designing mechanical assemblies with moving parts
Hands‑on experience designing sheet metal components
Ability to create clear, accurate manufacturing drawings
Understanding of mechanical principles, tolerances, and fabrication processes
Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in consumer products, sports equipment, or mechanical product development
Familiarity with prototyping, testing, and design for manufacturability (DFM)
Experience working in a fast‑paced, product‑driven environment
Knowledge of machining, welding, or injection molding is a plus
