Maintenance Crew Leader - Military Base

The Greenery Inc. is looking for a permanent Maintenance Team Leader to manage and train crew members and ensure high quality work across all customer sites. The role requires hands‑on supervision, safety oversight, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with supervisors and customers.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Manage crews and complete daily routes on time
Train team members on safe cutting, trimming, and edging practices
Foster a positive work environment
Drive revenue growth and profitability
Retain employees through strong leadership
Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure the safety and proper management of crew members
Maintain crew compliance with uniform and safety equipment standards
Load materials and equipment; complete morning deliveries by the target hour
Maintain landscapes to a high standard of quality
Identify and report landscape issues using company tools
Keep trucks, equipment, and tools clean and ready for use
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Physical stamina to work outdoors in variable weather; reliable transportation to store location
Ability to work independently and in a team
Basic knowledge of landscaping, horticulture, turf maintenance, and snow management
Excellent time‑management, organizational, and communication skills
Experience operating lawn maintenance equipment (mowers, edgers, trimmers, blowers, rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, backpack sprayers)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Earth, and industry software
Class C driver’s license with clean MVR; valid DOT medical card; pass drug screening
Wear approved PPE and company uniform as directed
Demonstrate leadership, delegation, and ability to inspire high performance
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in exterior construction, landscape, or related field
1 year of supervisory or management experience
1 year of construction and/or landscaping experience
Physical Requirements
Maintain regular attendance; willing to work overtime, holidays, nights, or weekends as needed
Work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, humidity, cold, wet, wind, rain, snow); prepare accordingly
Lift 50 pounds or more
