REVIT IS REQUIRED
Position Description:
You will be required to provide structural steel and concrete models, and drawings for a variety of projects under the supervision of a structural engineer and/or lead/senior designer. This will also require coordination with other engineering disciplines and may require travel to project sites for field investigations.
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a structural designer.
General knowledge of AISC standards, OSHA, and International building codes.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong PC, Microsoft Office, and general technology competency.
Excellent attention to detail and teamwork skills.
Ability to adapt to an environment and work well with others.
Ability to learn document flow and follow detailed instructions.
Interpret design drawings, specifications, and other information to understand the project.
Produce steel construction documentation, models, drawings, and details for steel framing of buildings, pipe/duct supports, trusses, and architectural elements.
Produce construction documentation, models, drawings, and details for elevated concrete, slabs, and subgrade foundations.
Coordinate work within an internal team of structural engineers and structural designers, as well as cross-disciplinary coordination.
Create 3D models and 2D drawings within AutoCAD, Revit.
Independently develop concepts and general arrangements, and complete full construction documents.
Preferred Experience
Experience with TEKLA Structures, E3D, and AutoCAD.
