Responsibilities

Prepare and revise detailed drawings and schematics using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Develop layout designs and mechanical piping plans for projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards.

Support projects throughout the entire design and manufacturing process, including concept, design, manufacturing, installation, and troubleshooting.

Draft designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Prepare drawings of parts and assemblies for custom refrigeration projects.

Review and analyze blueprints, plans, and technical documents to ensure quality and completeness.

Develop working drawings for customers (layout/mechanical arrangement) and fabrication shop (pipe routing and sub-assemblies).

Continuously develop standard product line.

Perform quality control checks on drafts and drawings to identify discrepancies or errors.

Carry out light administrative duties in software.

Provide assistance to the engineering team with design revisions and troubleshooting as needed.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Good working knowledge of pipe routing and assembly arrangement layouts with various sized vessels and support structures.

Ability to read blueprints.

Detail-oriented and well organized to stay current with the daily flow of information.

Excellent written and verbal skills.

Team-oriented and able to work well with others.

Capable of juggling multiple concurrent jobs.

Excellent project and priority management skills.

Education and Experience

Degree in Drafting required.

8 years of related experience required.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Ability to access and navigate all areas of construction sites.

Capability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
