We are seeking a skilled
Marine Inboard & Systems Technician
to join our team. This position focuses on the installation, maintenance, and repair of inboard engines, propulsion systems, and onboard mechanical and electrical systems.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with diesel and gasoline inboards, fuel systems, plumbing, and marine electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain inboard engines (gas & diesel) and propulsion systems
Service and install fuel, exhaust, and cooling systems
Troubleshoot and repair marine electrical and hydraulic systems
Work on plumbing, sanitation, and HVAC systems as needed
Conduct routine maintenance and system inspections
Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
Ensure all work meets industry safety and quality standards
Communicate with service advisors and customers regarding repairs and maintenance recommendations
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Qualifications
Experience with inboard marine engines (Yanmar, Cummins, Volvo Penta, Caterpillar, etc.)
Strong knowledge of marine electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues efficiently
Familiarity with marine service tools and diagnostic equipment
Ability to read and follow technical manuals and schematics
Basic fabrication and welding skills (preferred but not required)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license and ability to work in various weather conditions
