Marine Mechanic
for service and refit work on high-end yachts. This role requires expertise with
inboard and sterndrive propulsion systems
— not outboards or auto mechanics. What You’ll Do
Diagnose and repair inboard engines, transmissions, and running gear Perform shaft, strut, prop, and rudder removals, installations, and alignments Service hydraulic systems: steering, trim tabs, stabilizers, etc. Install and repair plumbing systems (freshwater, greywater, blackwater) Replace cutlass bearings, seals, marine hardware, and mechanical components Support rigging/lifting operations and mechanical system upgrades What You Bring
3+ years experience as a marine mechanic —
yacht, inboard, or sterndrive required Strong diagnostics and troubleshooting across propulsion and hydraulic systems Experience with plumbing, seacocks, through-hulls, and A/C systems Comfortable working in dynamic service/refit environments Apply Today:
