This role is responsible for the final finishing and detailing of concrete surfaces on high‑end residential and commercial projects.
Job Summary Ground Works Land Design is seeking a skilled, dependable, and professional concrete finisher to join our Projects Division. This hands‑on role involves all phases of concrete construction on high‑end residential and commercial projects, including site preparation, forming, pouring, finishing, and final detailing. The concrete finisher works closely with the concrete foreman and crew to ensure high‑quality workmanship, efficiency, and precision across flatwork, structural, and decorative concrete installations. The ideal candidate has solid field experience, takes pride in craftsmanship, and works well as part of a team.
We support a culture of internal growth and promotion. Our promotion track for this department is: Concrete Crew Member > Concrete Finisher > Concrete Foreman > Project Manager > Operations Manager.
Starting Pay Range: $28.00 – $40.00 per hour (dependent on experience).

Duties / Responsibilities
On‑Call for snow removal during winter hours
Participate in all phases of concrete work including site prep, forming, pouring, finishing, and cleanup
Pouring, leveling, and finishing of concrete flatwork, footings, and wall work
Apply desired textures and finishes including smooth, broom, and stamped
Set forms, tie rebar, and assist with concrete placement
Operate finishing tools and equipment with precision
Read and interpret blueprints/drawings
Maintain a clean and safe job site and equipment
Complete all production‑related digital timesheets
Communicate effectively with team members and foreman
Positively promote company culture
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications / Requirements
Valid Driver’s license
Minimum 2 years of experience in concrete finishing or general construction
Experience with stamped or decorative concrete preferred
Skilled in operating finishing tools and power tools
Experience with excavation, grading, and demo work
Able to stand, crouch, bend, and climb stairs/ladders for extended periods
Capable of working outdoors in noisy or changing weather conditions
High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Ability to work successfully with limited supervision
Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish is a plus
Able to lift more than 100 lbs.
