Full-time Press Brake Operator Job Overview Pay Range: $23-29/hr

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Key Responsibilities

Operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal components according to specifications and blueprints

Set up and adjust press brake machines for various operations, including selecting appropriate tools, dies, and gauges

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine job requirements

Perform precise measurements using various measuring tools to ensure accuracy of bent parts

Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications

Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on press brake machines and related equipment

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and workflow

Assist in training new operators and sharing knowledge with colleagues

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality

Maintain accurate records of production activities, material usage, and machine maintenance

Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and quality control standards

Qualifications

2-10 years of experience as a Press Brake Operator in a manufacturing or fabrication environment

Proficiency in operating various types of press brake machines, including CNC-controlled equipment

Strong understanding of metal fabrication techniques, materials, and processes

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders

Excellent mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations

Knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection techniques

Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues

Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in metal fabrication is a plus
