Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full-time Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machines to produce high-quality metal components according to specifications. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Pay: $22-28/hr (DOE) Shift: 1st and 2nd | Monday - Friday Responsibilities

Operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets and plates according to blueprints and work orders Set up and adjust press brake machines for different jobs, including selecting and installing appropriate dies and tooling Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to determine job specifications Perform precise measurements using various measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges Calculate and apply mathematical formulas to determine bend allowances, angles, and other critical dimensions Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on press brake machines as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and improve efficiency Required Skills and Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Press Brake Operator in a manufacturing environment Proficient in operating various types of press brake machines, including CNC-controlled equipment Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions Excellent shop math skills, including the ability to perform calculations for bend allowances, angles, and dimensions Experience with TRIG is a PLUS! Experience with different types of metals, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel Familiarity with quality control procedures and inspection techniques Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to press brake operation Ability to use precision measuring tools accurately Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in metal fabrication is a plus
