Job Summary This is a general labor position in the erosion control division. The Crew Member‑Driver completes physical installation of silt fence, inlet protections, slope matting, and other erosion control services on residential and commercial sites, and drives a company work truck to and from the worksite. The role follows direction from the Crew Leader and may progress to a Crew Leader position for experienced candidates.
Duties & Functions
Review daily work schedule with the Crew Leader each morning.
Assist in loading trucks with proper installation materials.
Drive the company work truck safely and obey all traffic laws.
Represent Greenrise Technologies professionally to customers and homeowners.
Complete all erosion control work to a high standard of quality.
Follow all safety protocols for vehicles, equipment, or site conduct.
Install all erosion control products per the crew leader’s direction.
Communicate effectively with operations managers and crew members.
Achieve daily and weekly goals for silt fence installation output.
Ensure vehicles, tools, and equipment are well maintained and inspected.
Relay important information, incident reports, or concerns through the proper chain of command.
Requirements Qualifications & Standards
A valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required).
Ability to listen well and follow directions.
Strong problem‑solving and communication skills; teamwork orientation.
Commitment to customer service and professional representation.
Reliable and punctual attendance.
Physically fit and able to work long days outside.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Basic reading and writing skills.
High character, honesty and integrity.
Capability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Sound judgment and sound decision making.
Initiative to seek continued performance improvement.
Preferred: experience with erosion control tools and equipment.
Preferred: experience pulling a trailer.
Reliable cell phone.
