Overview
Successful candidate will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of construction equipment including but not limited to lattice crawler cranes.
Responsibilities

Disassemble and assemble lattice crawler cranes
Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
Repair or replace defective parts.
Install special functional and structural parts in devices.
Lubricate, maintain, and clean parts as needed.
Starts and operates devices to test their performance.
Set up and operate drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
Fabricate as needed
Repair electrical equipment
Basic Qualifications:
10+ Year experience working on crawler crane
Experience disassembling and assembling lattice crawler cranes
Ability to read and understand service and operators manuals
Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems on various types of equipment
Ability to run equipment for diagnosis and troubleshooting
Extremely Beneficial
Ringer crane experience
Pile driving / foundation experience
Marine experience
Physical
Must be able to push/pull, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs., but may occasionally push/pull, lift, or carry up to 100 lbs.
Subject to repetitive use of hands/arms, and legs
Hand/eye coordination
Must be able to communicate (hear, comprehend, and speak) to safely perform work
Will need to be able to perform sedentary to heavy work
May operate hand and power tools (electric, gas, and pneumatic) of all types
Climb and maintain balance on steel/wood framework, stairs, ladders and scaffolds
Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis
Position may require prolonged bending/twisting, walking, crawling, kneeling, reaching overhead, squatting, pushing /pulling, or standing and lifting
Must be able to walk on uneven surfaces, muddy conditions, loose rock, loose/soft sand, etc.
May be required to work in confined spaces
Will be exposed to adverse weather conditions (Heat, Cold, Rain, Etc.)
