Raydeo Enterprises Inc. , a 38‑year leader in commercial millwork and metalwork, to grow our team of skilled CAD technicians. This Millwork Drafter will collaborate with engineering, project management, and production to produce high‑quality drawings that meet project specifications, deadlines, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with project stakeholders to clarify design, build, and install requirements and resolve technical issues.
Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure smooth coordination and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Review, approve, and conduct quality control checks on technical drawings, plans, and schematics to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
Maintain drafting standards, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.
Lead, train, and mentor a team of drafters to execute drafting tasks efficiently and accurately.
Monitor adherence to project schedules and budgets and manage workload distribution.
Qualifications
At least 3–5 years of experience as a CAD technician or drafter in a supervisory or leadership role.
Proficiency in drafting software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Microvellum, etc.).
Strong understanding of construction drawings, building codes, and industry standards.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and commitment to delivering high‑quality work on time.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Office setting with occasional site visits and extended hours to meet deadlines.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a computer workstation; ability to conduct site visits, walk, climb stairs, or travel to remote locations.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary based on experience ($95,000–$100,000).
