Yates Industries, a leading manufacturer of hydraulic & pneumatic cylinders, is currently looking to hire a dependable, self-motivated individual, for our Austell, Georgia facility. Qualified candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience with CNC setup and programming.
Responsibilities and Duties
Produce quality machined parts by programming, setting up, and final machining of all components.
Write, store and retrieve programs for machined parts.
Prioritize work orders for timely completion to accommodate customer needs.
Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements, troubleshoot malfunctions, and repair equipment as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
Set up, program, finish machine, and verify parts to print.
G code proficiency.
Skilled in programming and operating CNC Lathes.
Competent with Mazak Mazatrol, Mazak Fusion, and Fanuc controls.
Able to read and interpret blueprints.
Strong math skills.
Analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints and/or specifications in order to calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speed and feed rates.
Programming gantry robots, bar feeders, and sub spindles a plus.
Can use inspection equipment such as micrometers, depth mic’s, O.D. mic’s, thread gauges and calipers.
