Clerical Assistant 3 Position

As Clerical Assistant 3, you will be tasked with scheduling hearings and mediations, preparing court rooms both in person and virtually for Judges prior to hearing days, and arranging for vendor services according to WCOA policy for interpreters, security guards, and court reporters. Work involves preparing and filing documents, correspondence, and transcripts in digital and hard copy files; typing and formatting decisions; as well as processing and preparing case files related to appealed decisions. This position utilizes Workers' Compensation Automation and Integration System (WCAIS) to maintain a caseload, process tasks, and distribute correspondence for claims. Effective communication is essential as you will be handling telephone inquiries regarding the status of cases and general questions from the public, attorneys, media, law enforcement, and legislators. You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, upon successful completion of the training period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or one year of moderately complex clerical experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and training. Other Requirements:
