Description of Work As a Clerical Assistant 3, you will perform secretarial duties for Workers' Compensation Judges and provide office support within the Workers' Compensation Office of Adjudication (WCOA) District Office.

Work includes scheduling hearings and mediations, preparing court rooms both in person and virtually for Judges prior to hearing days, arranging vendor services according to WCOA policy for interpreters, security guards, and court reporters, preparing and filing documents, correspondence, and transcripts in digital and hard‑copy files, typing and formatting decisions, and processing case files related to appeals.

You will use Workers' Compensation Automation and Integration System (WCAIS) to maintain a caseload, process tasks, and distribute correspondence for claims. You may also correspond with the public by phone, email, mail, or through WCAIS.

Work Schedule and Additional Information

Full‑time employment

Work hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday‑Friday, with 60‑minute lunch

Telework: Opportunity to work from home part‑time after successful completion of the training period

Salary: Starting salary may be non‑negotiable in some cases

Requirements Minimum Experience and Training

One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent federal government job title)

One year of moderately complex clerical experience

An equivalent combination of experience and training

Other Requirements

Must meet the PA residency requirement

Must be able to perform essential job functions
