Sales Representative
Sunlighten, the global leader in infrared sauna therapy, is on a mission to empower healthier, happier lives through cutting-edge wellness solutions. As a Sales Representative with the Sunlighten for Business team, you'll be the driving force behind our expansion, generating new business through relentless market research, bold networking, and strategic outreach. You'll identify qualified leads, secure meetings, and guide prospects through your pipeline, closing game-changing B2B and commercial deals with wellness centers, spas, hotels, and more.
We're looking for a natural communicator with an infectious positive energy and a proven ability to turn prospects into lasting partnerships. You'll become an expert in our patented SoloCarbon infrared technology, clinically proven to detoxify, relax, and rejuvenate, winning clients over through hands‑on education and unwavering confidence.
From our Kansas City roots to our growing global presence, including the UK, you'll help drive Sunlighten's 25-year legacy in a wellness industry projected to reach $7 trillion by 2026. If you're ready to build relationships, exceed goals, and shape the future of health, this is your opportunity.
This is a fully remote opportunity for candidates not located in the Kansas City Metro area. Candidates within a 35-mile radius of Sunlighten HQ will be required to work in office a couple of times / week.
Duties / Responsibilities
Develop strong relationships and build trust with our primary clients- business owners or decision makers within organizations (wellness centers, holistic health centers, day spas, hotels / hospitality industry, home builders, designers, etc.)
Strategically identify new opportunities through cold calls and prospecting to fill up a pipeline that produces and hits the BD monthly quota
Ramp-up over the course of 4 months- we will provide the tools / opportunity to perfect your demos, build relationships, and find quick sales to begin earning commission
Hit long term KPI's from a performance standpoint including revenue targets, cold call lists, lead generation, activity metrics, etc.
Never step or shy away from a challenge- be ready to work with a winning team of sales professionals and leaders
Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions, terms of sales, and / or service agreements; prepare contracts and submit orders
Collaborate with other departments, managers, and other staff to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributed properly
Analyze market reports to determine where to seek out new business
Establish contact with new business opportunities via carious means
Create proposals for existing customers to better help them with their business while utilizing company products
Work to convert losses into wins to the best of your ability
Get in front of potential problems in order to minimize potential loss
Utilize senior staff for training and guidance
Additional duties as assigned by Director of Business Development
