Position Information Our Body Shop Painters are responsible for providing superb customer service by working hard every day to do what we do better than anyone else.

This position reports to the Body Shop Manager, is a 40 hour a week position and is eligible for overtime. To qualify for a Body Shop Painter position, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Two years' experience as a truck body painter or apprentice. Mechanical aptitude and technical ability are required. You must be able to operate power and hand tools and other equipment safely. You must be able to read and comprehend instructions and information. Dressing professionally and being able to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors, and other contacts is a must.

The Body Shop Painter position is a physically demanding position. You will stand six to eight hours per shift. Will stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle and feel. Will use hand and power tools. Will lift parts weighing up to 70 pounds several times during each shift. Will use hoist and test equipment. Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.
