Oceanfront Resort located in Dennis Port, MA on Cape Cod in Barnstable County.
Position:
Short Order Cook (Temporary, Full-time) 04/01/2026 – 10/31/2026, at least 36 hours per week, 4 days per week, shift 8:00am-5:00pm (overtime may be available).
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items that require quick preparation, including burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, chicken and shrimp kebabs, salads, breakfast sandwiches, parfaits, pastries, fruit cups, pizzas, and waffles.
Cook items to order but not made from scratch; use multiple kitchen hand tools, spoons, forks, knives, spatulas, pizza ovens, gas stove top and gas grill.
Plate, garnish, and store food inventory properly.
Practice sanitary food procedures and maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment.
Compensation:
$21.91 per hour (or $32.87 per hour for overtime as available).
Benefits:
Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided or reimbursed, if the employee completes half the employment period.
Return transportation will be provided if the employee completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer.
Daily subsistence of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68 per day with receipts.
All tools, supplies, and equipment required will be provided at no charge.
Optionally, lodging may be available; if provided, cost is $135 per week and paid directly by the employee to the employer each pay period.
Work Schedule & Payroll:
Single work week for computing wages starts Sunday at 12:01am and ends Saturday at 11:59pm; payment bi-weekly on Friday by company check.
