Fabricates, installs, removes and maintains sheet metal items such as ducts, gutters, down spouts, roofing, ventilators, chutes, shelves, pans and guards according to layouts, blueprints, job orders and established practices and procedures. Responsibilities

Plans and lays out work assignments from blueprints or other specifications sets up and operates appropriate sheet metal working machines and shapes the proper gauge sheet. Cut, bend, shape, fit, and form sheet metal by cutting, bending, forming, fitting, and assembling and installs fabricated sheet metal pieces as required. Completes work‑related paperwork and forms. Follows safety practices and procedures and keeps work area clean. Performs other related duties as assigned. Must be willing to work overtime when required. Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency. At least four (4) years of commercial journeymen level experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic performing the above stated duties. Valid state driver’s license. Ability to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, reach overhead and lift 50 pounds. Must be able to obtain a favorable National Agency Check. Physical Demands

Requirements include standing, walking for long periods, sitting, using hands and fingers, handling objects, tools or controls, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. Must be able to hear and speak. Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds; heavier loads require two-man teams and appropriate safety equipment. Job ID
