CBI is seeking motivated individuals to contribute to workforce development and the communities we serve. Job Summary

The Peer Support Mentor will be responsible for expanding our success in workforce development by mentoring individuals with lived experience to identify strengths, areas of opportunity, and areas of expertise. The role supports individuals with lived experience in navigating employment at CBI, accessing trainings, understanding and receiving tuition reimbursement assistance, and maximizing benefits offered to CBI employees. The Peer Support Mentor will work with various departments within CBI (including Program Operations, Finance, Compliance, Quality Management, Billing, and IT) to understand operations and guide individuals to the best department based on their expertise and goals. CBI’s goal is to have individuals with lived experiences infused into the agency’s operations to inform processes that support direct service staff and the members we serve. The Peer Support Mentor will help develop the CBI Peer Opportunity Path (CPOP) and guide individuals through the CPOP, including an anti-poverty framework that supports success beyond employment and includes assisting with access to home ownership, higher education, and career advancement. Skills/Requirements

High school diploma or GED required. Associates Degree or higher in a field related to behavioral health preferred. Recovery from alcohol or drugs and/or GMH for equal to or greater than 1 consecutive year required. 1 year of experience in a behavioral health position providing outreach and engagement activities.
