Join a dedicated team of animal lovers!
We are a well-established and well-respected boarding, training, daycare and grooming facility in OC. We have been in business at our current location for more than 20 years.
We have morning/evening/weekend shifts available: Shifts can include days during the week and a Saturday and/or Sunday. Shifts can vary; but usually start at 6:45am – 2 pm and 1:45pm and end around 9:00pm.
If you are the special person we are looking for you will:
love animals, especially dogs – all breeds; all sizes!
have a steady work history with excellent references
have attention to detail
understand the importance of quality and safety
be willing to feed and exercise the dogs as well as clean the enclosures and do laundry
enjoy working as a team and get along well with others
be dedicated to the animals under your care while you are at work
not mind hard work or working outside
be willing to work all holidays and some weekends
Those with previous animal experience will be given priority, but an enthusiasm to work with animals is just as important. You will start out learning how to clean and maintain a healthy environment, then will be taught our feeding and exercising protocols and will receive training on dog behavior and how to read body language during dog‑to‑dog interactions. This is a labor‑intensive job; you will be on your feet and you will be working outside – rain or shine!
If you think you have the compassion and dedication required and wish to be considered for this position, please email your resume with cover letter telling us why you are right for this position.
Crossroads’ philosophy is all about providing the highest quality of care and loving attention to dogs in our care. We have a great reputation for doing just that! We are a group of energetic and motivated people who love what we do and are looking for other like‑minded, high‑quality people to join our team. We offer exciting opportunities that will challenge your abilities, expand your skills and reward your contributions.
We’re a privately‑owned and operated pet care facility focused on a single mission: To be
THE
name in pet dog training, boarding, grooming, and doggie daycare in Southern California because of our honest business dealings with clients and employees, reliable and quality service with a commitment to cleanliness and order, courteous and knowledgeable staff, and a reputation for
“caring deeply”
about the animals in our care and the people who love them. To recognize that our commodities are boarding and training, but our products are peace of mind and successful human/pet relationships.
Every day we get to do a job we love and contribute to helping pets and their owners. From providing inspiration to dog parents who need it; helping customers learn how to change the course of their relationship with their dogs without force; educating the dog owner how to speak “dog”, – improving the relationship between dog and owner is the goal for us. We know that our work can change and enrich the lives of pets and their owners. We work together to create “raves” for our clients. Everyone on the team is responsible for bringing new ideas, perspectives and solutions to the table. Starting with day one, we want your voice as part of the conversation.
