A top litigation firm in NYC is seeking a Junior Litigation Paralegal to join the team. This position requires excellent proofreading skills.

Who You Are

You have a bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of experience proofreading documents at a law firm, non-profit, or similar professional services environment

Exceptional proofreading and document review skills with a sharp eye for accuracy and compliance

Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, Westlaw, PACER, and Relativity is a plus

What You’ll Do

Proofread, prepare, and e-file legal documents in federal and state courts with precision

Draft administrative filings such as notices of appearance, letter motions, and declarations

Organize and maintain case files and discovery materials

Manage litigation calendars and calculate deadlines based on court rules

Conduct factual and legal research and summarize court dockets

Support hearings, trials, and arbitrations, including coordinating with vendors

What Success Looks Like

Legal documents are error‑free, properly formatted, and filed on time

Case files and discovery materials are organized and easily accessible for attorneys

Litigation calendars are maintained without missed deadlines

Research and docket summaries provide clear, actionable insights for the legal team

Hearings and trials run smoothly with all logistical details handled effectively

Salary Range:

$65,000 – 75,000 annually, based on experience

Location:

New York, NY – Hybrid
