We are seeking a skilled 1st Shift Lead CNC Programmer to join our team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for writing programs for computer-controlled machinery to create precision parts and components. The CNC Programmer will work closely with engineers and machinists to interpret technical drawings and specifications to develop machining processes.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Write, modify, and test programs for CNC machines based on engineering drawings and specifications. 2. Collaborate with engineers and machinists to optimize machining processes for efficiency and accuracy. 3. Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts within specified tolerances. 4. Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure smooth operations. 5. Provide training and guidance to machine operators on running CNC programs effectively. 6. Maintain documentation of programs, machine settings, and production records for quality control purposes.
Qualifications: - Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment. - Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and G-code programming. - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Knowledge of machining processes and materials. - Certificate or degree in CNC programming or related field preferred.
