CNC Programmer
Trillium is seeking a CNC Programmer in Wilmington! This direct-hire opportunity is seeking an experienced CNC programmer ready to tackle challenging projects. The CNC Programmer will write and test programs for multiple CNC machines, translating technical drawings into precise machine instructions, reading blueprints, selecting optimal tools and speeds, troubleshooting production issues, and adjusting settings to meet exacting quality standards. This dynamic role splits your time between the officecrafting and refining programs on advanced computersand the shop floor, where you'll oversee test runs, set up machines, and resolve operational challenges in real time. Your expertise will drive success across key industries like automotive, aerospace, medical, and general manufacturing, ensuring mission-critical parts perform flawlessly. Responsibilities
Develop, write, and implement CNC programs that control automated machinery, ensuring efficiency and accuracy with no errors. Interpret technical drawings and schematics to determine precise dimensions, tolerances, and the most effective manufacturing methods. Choose appropriate cutting tools, set machine speeds and feed rates, and manually adjust programs when necessary to optimize machine performance. Monitor production runs closely to guarantee parts meet exact specifications and address any issues that may arise. Update and adapt existing programs for new parts or different machines, while managing and maintaining a tooling database. Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and other team members to resolve problems and enhance manufacturing processes. Schedule is 1st Shift / 6:00 AM
2:30 PM / Monday
Friday. Pay is $60,000 - $75,000 salary DOE with a 10% incentive. Qualifications
Demonstrate a strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and CNC machine operation. Possess experience with G-code and M-code programming, along with the ability to adapt to various programming languages. Accurately read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics. Apply excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and diagnose issues effectively. Maintaining a meticulous, detail-oriented approach is essential for ensuring accuracy. Use knowledge of mathematical principles related to geometry and calculations to support machining tasks and programming. Possess 3+ years of experience in CNC programming. Hold a preferred trade school certificate. Demonstrate the ability to maximize programming for greater efficiency. Show good working experience with CAM software.
