As a True Friends Prep Cook, you'll play an important role in creating a positive dining experience for campers, guests, and staff. you'll help prepare meals, assist with a variety of foodservice tasks, and maintain a clean kitchen environment. This hands-on, team-oriented role is rewarding, allowing you to contribute to the success of our camp and the enjoyment of all our guests.

Schedule:

Part-time, year-round, weekday/weekend, day/night shift

Pay:

$14.60 p/hr

How You'll Contribute:

Prepare, cook, bake, and serve meals in alignment with menus, recipes, and production requirements

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in kitchen and dining areas

Clear, wash, dry, and properly store dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment

Operate and maintain the commercial dishwasher

Set up and reset the dining area for meal services

Assist with kitchen and food service operations as needed

Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring to the Table:

Must be able to pass an organizational background study

Minimum age of 16 years or older

Food service experience is preferred

Desire to learn and gain experiences in a culinary environment

Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures

High school diploma preferred

Physical demands

Ability to see, hear, and communicate verbally

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, reach, and move continually during working hours

Ability to feel objects and use fingers to operate tools and controls
