About the Role • The classroom aide assists the homeroom teacher in providing engaging and effective instruction in accordance with Catholic values and academic standards. This role supports our mission of growing disciples by fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that cultivates intellectual, spiritual, and emotional development.
What You Will Do • Small group/individual instruction: Under the guidance of a certified teacher, plan and deliver instruction that addresses the needs of diverse learners. • Faith Integration: Incorporate Catholic teachings and values into daily instruction and activities. • Student Engagement: Foster a positive and respectful classroom culture where students feel safe, supported, and motivated to achieve their best. • Assessment: Assist the teaching staff in evaluating and monitoring student progress through various assessment tools. • Collaboration: Work with teachers, parents, and administration to ensure student success and community building. • Professional Development: Stay current with educational best practices and participate in ongoing training to enhance teaching skills.
What You Need To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Education or another field • Commitment to Catholic values and the mission of Catholic education • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Top Candidates May Also Have • Experience teaching in a Catholic school or faith-based setting • Experience working with differentiated instruction for diverse learners
