Hilton New Orleans Riverside, 2 Poydras Street, New Orleans, 70130 Earn paid time off from day 1 Free parking and free meals Option to be paid daily Discounted hotel stays for team members and family and friends Debt-free education Responsibilities: Set-up, break down, and clean all banquet spaces and functions Assist guests in function areas as needed Maintain cleanliness of banquet, meeting, and conference areas to meet standards Clean restrooms, vacuum, mop, sweep, shampoo carpets, clean/wax floors, remove trash, stock supply rooms, report maintenance issues, and remove spots, insects, and debris Ensure equipment is in working order and report defects Project professionalism to guests and team members Assist back of house team when requested Lift and push banquet equipment Assist with setup for Food and Beverage functions Lift/pull/push at least 50 pounds Follow hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation Attend hotel-provided training Qualifications: Basic knowledge of meeting room setup, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette Knowledge of table settings and service ware Strong organizational skills Ability to work outdoors Familiarity with hotel events Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism Working at Hilton: Hilton is a leading global hospitality company offering a range of accommodations from luxury hotels to extended-stay suites.
